DESCRIPTION:Collaborative Learning Student Series – Electives \nThe Collaborative Learning Student Series Electives will take place on various days and times throughout the Winter. Many of the activities have limited registration and learners are encouraged to sign up early to secure a spot. Registration will be open 2 weeks prior to the event. \nProgram: “My Disease Will Never Define Me” – Exploring the Impact of Empathy \nObjectives: \n\nAcquire an appreciation of patient’s perspectives while providing care\nDescribe a tool to use for creating empathy in individual and team interactions with a patient\nDiscuss strategies that support empathetic interaction with patients\n\nRegistration:  \nClick this link to register \nAccreditation:\nThese learning activities are approved by the University of Toronto\, Centre for Advancing Collaborative Healthcare & Education (CACHE) for IPE credit and most will take place over Zoom.
