SUMMARY:Collaborative Learning Student Series: Wound Care
DESCRIPTION:Collaborative Learning Student Series – Electives \nThe Collaborative Learning Student Series Electives will take place on various days and times throughout the year. Many of the activities have limited registration and learners are encouraged to sign up early to secure a spot. Registration will be open 2 weeks prior to the event. \nPressure Injury Prevention & Management \nDuring this interactive collaborative learning session\, participants will learn about pressure injuries and the role of the team.   Participants will have the opportunity to work through a facilitated case discussion. \n\nLearners will gain knowledge regarding a holistic approach to pressure injury prevention and management within an acute care setting\nLearners will be able to verbalize their roles and responsibilities as they relate to pressure injury prevention and management.\nLearners will explore navigating an interprofessional conflict by using a problem based learning approach.\nLearners will acknowledge how to engage participation of patient/family/community to promote pressure injury prevention and management.\n\nRegistration: Click here to register. \nAccreditation:\nThese learning activities are approved by the University of Toronto\, Centre for Advancing Collaborative Healthcare & Education (CACHE) for IPE credit and most will take place over Zoom.
