SUMMARY:Disrupting Ableism - Collaborative Learning Activity
DESCRIPTION:An interactive CL activity developed\, led by two Unity Health Toronto Patient Family Partners\, and introduces learners to the concept of ableism in healthcare. Short presentations (including teacher lead and videos) are interspersed with large and small group discussion and opportunities for reflection and self-examination of potential biases. The Collaborative Relationship-focused Care competency is explored in the context of disrupting ableism.
