DESCRIPTION:Collaborative Learning Student Series – Electives \nThe Collaborative Learning Student Series Electives will take place on various days and times throughout the Spring and Summer. Many of the activities have limited registration and learners are encouraged to sign up early to secure a spot. Registration will be open 2 weeks prior to the event. \nProgram: Sex & Gender in Healthcare \nObjectives: \n\nDefine and Describe terminology related to biological sex\, gender\, sexual orientation\, gender expression\, and gender identity\nExplore how systems of oppression related to sexuality and gender impact health outcomes at the structural/institutional\, interpersonal\, and internal levels in the context of healthcare\nIdentify strategies that can be implemented at the structural/institutional\, interpersonal\, and internal levels in healthcare to enable patients/clients/families/communities as partners in care and integrate their perspective in my (and my team’s) work\n\nRegistration:  \nhttps://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CLSS2022  \nAccreditation:\nThe Collaborative Learning Series is accredited through the Centre for Interprofessional Education at the University of Toronto.
