Collaborative Learning Student Series – Electives

The Collaborative Learning Student Series Electives will take place on various days and times throughout the Winter. Many of the activities have limited registration and learners are encouraged to sign up early to secure a spot. Registration will be open 2 weeks prior to the event.

Program: Person Centred Language

Objectives:

• Describe the links between language and health equity
• Define person-centred language
• Understand the impact of person-centred language healthcare
• Explain how PCL can impact Interprofessional communication and support patient/client/family centred care
• Articulate the importance of PCL in enhancing equitable care
